Initially my impression is...would there still be more to know from lea salonga after the numerous interviews in the past. For some reason, i found the responses quite...guarded in the first few minutes. However, maganda ang structure ng questions. May mga nareveal about lea, like ang tindi ng disiplina. i also like how candidly lea discussed her technique in approaching a role. Grabe ang technique, and in some parts she likened it to a well-oiled and trained "machine". Some would probably not agree with her but of course, iba naman kasi ang sistema sa london and broadway. grabe ang technique and with lea's talent, perfect combination. thanks jennie for letting this "appear" from lea.

another part i like sa interview is how straighforward lea is regarding the affordability of her latest play cinderella. oo nga naman, it gave producers a gage on how much people will and can actually pay.

what i find disturbing is the implied level of hope (or some may call it "insecurity") of lea regarding the availability of roles for her type of voice. paulit ulit kasi lumabas sa interview. I for one believes that lea would still tackle many roles in the future!

These small details make this episode very very interesting. definitely beats all the interviews made with lea by others in the past!

Thanks for the enthusiasm and kind words! Every interview is also a learning experience for me and I did learn a lot from Lea and her approach. I do agree with you that the possibilities open to her are still infinite. As long as there's a will, and a way, and good timing :)

i've read a lot of reviews of lea salonga solo albums. these reviews are from prominent music reviewer in the US and UK. one comment that they always write is that lea salonga has this magnificent versatile voice that can go beyond broadway and disney. she is actually good in pop, given a good material. i believe that there is more for this woman out there. she is extremely talented and she just gets better. she has more fans outside asia...

one thing that she needs though, she needs a very good international producer to produce a good album of international caliber. it seemed that she is stucked with her brother as her producer.

north america and europe wants to see more of lea salonga, as well as the rest of the world.
